Because the Crossings Challenge was established as a venue for “B” swimmers to compete and be recognized, the following standards will be enforced: Any swimmer completing a race with a County time (see Qualifying Times Chart for times by age and sex) will be disqualified from that race, previously completed races, and subsequent races entered for the remainder of the event, including all relays.

*Qualifying Times are subject to change.

Each swimmer may enter a maximum of 4 events: 3 individual events and 1 relay event. If a swimmer is unable to swim in a relay event, he or she may enter a maximum of 3 individual events. In scoring for “High Point,” the swimmer will get credit for the top three (3) finishes or points in individual events. If a swimmer elects to swim up an age group to fill out a relay team, the swimmer’s entry in that event will not count toward their event entry limit.

Prizes & Awards
Each participating swimmer will receive an Outstanding Swimming Medal.

Swimmers will receive medals or ribbons for placement in individual events and relays.

Trophies will be awarded to the High Point male and female swimmer in each age group. Scoring for “High Point” will be based on the swimmer’s top three (3) finishes or points in individual events.

Last name, First name
event/heat/lane

* Kickboard race will be at the beginning of the meet and then right before backstroke. At this time announcer will ask all kickboard race participants to go to clerk of the course who will place them into heats and lanes. It is not a part of the official program. Participants will receive a ribbon as they exit the pool as well as the traditional Bash piece of candy :) If you haven't already, please email a list of names of kickboard swimmers. You can also provide names when you arrive at the meet Saturday if that is easier.

* This is faster than a regular meet since it is only the younger swimmers. Often it feels like a constant flow to the clerk of the course.

*Snack shack will be serving both breakfast and lunch. We will have cheese zombies as well as taco salad, tri-tip sandwiches, breakfast burritos and the usual hot dogs and hamburgers.
