I am 30 years old and my husband and I have a daughter named Kylie who will be 7 years old in July. I coach various teams throughout the year including Northgate water polo and Lamorinda water polo.
I started swimming at 5 years old on Vista Diablo Dolphins and stayed on this team until age 18. I also swam and played water polo all four years in high school at Ygnacio Valley, then went on to swim and play water polo for two years at DVC. My swim team went to State for DVC where my 200 free relay got 1st place and our women’s team came in 4th over all.
This will be my 9th season coaching for VDD. I’m so excited and happy to be coaching again for Vista Diablo Dolpins again this season along with Coach Emily! I grew up on this team and it is really close to my heart. Our coaching staff will create an environment where your swimmer will be having fun as well as working hard and becoming the best they can be. I hope to help make this a positive experience that you will cherish forever. Go Dolphins!!!
I am so excited to begin yet another swim season! I am 25 years old. During the off season I teach kindergarten at Sun Terrace Elementary Magnet School in Concord. I absolutely love it, but am also always looking forward to the summers!
I started my swimming career on Vista Diablo when I was 4 years old. I then continued swimming on the team until I was 18. I swam and played water polo at Ygnacio Valley High School and continued playing polo and swimming at Merced College. My water polo team in college went on to win the Northern California tournament and took 4th place at State.
This will be my 9th season coaching for VDD. In addition to coaching VDD, I have also coached girls water polo and swimming at Atwater High School for 3 years, swimming at Yganico Valley High School, and water polo at Northgate High School.
Coaching has always been more than just a job to me. It is something I truly do enjoy and is a passion of mine! I love working with kids of all ages. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing them improve and seeing the smiles on their faces when they do! Coach Lindsay and I grew up on this team together and I am very excited to coach yet another season with her! I hope that together we can make this an unforgettable experience for all our swimmers, just as our coaches did for us!
Hi Dolphins! I am an undergraduate student going into my final year at UC Davis, and I am earning my B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Art History. While in Davis, I teach Group Exercise and Spin class at our campus gym.
I started swimming a little later in the game, when I was 9 years old, and swam until I aged out at 18. I swam for the Dana Hills Swim Team until I was 17, then joined the VDD family for my final year of swimming! I both swam and played water polo in high school, and loved (almost) every minute of it. I began my coaching career as a junior coach on Dana Hills at age 15. This will be my fourth season coaching Vista Diablo, an my third season as an assistant coach.
Since I am a student, I will be unable to join the practices until summer practice starts. I am so looking forward to seeing all of you! I hope I can help all of our Dolphins improve in their strokes and have a fantastic summer! Go Dolphins!
